School’s code of behavior

  1. A student must carry his almanac to school every day. It must have his/ her photograph and identity information complete and signed by parents.
  2. Students must be in their respective class-room at least ten minutes before the scheduled time for their classes to commence.
  3. The warning bell before class is signal for all to go to Assembly or their respective class-rooms.
  4. All should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days. Students who are slovenly dresses may be expelled from the class or even sent home.
  5. Care must be had from all school property and no pupil should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others.
  6. No books other than text or library books may be brought to school without the Principal’s permission.
  7. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like watches or cell phones, pagers, cameras, etc.) to school.
  8. Students are not to wear any jewellery to school (no chains, rings, bangles, bracelets). Girls may wear only one pair of small earrings or studs only.
  9. Running, Playing, Shouting and whistling inside the building is never allowed.
  10. Parents and Guardians are not permitted to walk into class rooms or interview teachers during class hours.
  11. Students should get their Report cards signed by their Parents or Guardians within five days of receipt.
  12. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  13. Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is just by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
  14. The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against the students whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
  15. As far as possible, once the child has come to school, he/ she should not be asked to come home on half day leave or leave from any period.
  16. No student should indulge in any of the following practices namely:
  • Spitting in or near the school building.
  • Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
  • Smoking.
  • Any form of gambling.
  • Rowdyism and rude behaviour.
  • Use of violence in any form.
  • Casteism/ communalism or practice of untouchability.
